He then took the job of main anchor at KLTV in Tyler, Texas for the next three years, before moving to Oklahoma City in 1989 to join KFOR. In 1995, Scillian switched gears and became a reporter for WDIV, and then in 1996, took on the role of an anchor.

Scillian has made her mark on the entertainment industry, with appearances as a television journalist in popular films such as Scream 4, The Double, and Mooz-lum, as well as a recurring role on The Ellen DeGeneres Show as a news anchor in a humorous “Breaking News” skit.
