She interned at the City of Phoenix Mayor’s Office, gaining experience in political communications and public relations. Additionally, she worked as a Sideline Reporter for Varsity Sports Show, covering high school football in the Phoenix area.
Thomas also served as a board operator for SkyView Networks, working on radio broadcasts for professional and collegiate sports teams. She participated in the 2022 Summit of the Americas, engaging in an onstage conversation with the U.S. Secretary of State about the future of journalism. Moreover, she worked as a broadcast reporter and anchor for Cronkite News on Arizona PBS and interned as a Virtual Sports Enhancement Intern for FOX, contributing to broadcasts of college football and NFL games.
